As far Gucci Mane, has not spoken out about his protege’s new image change.

Gucci is an American rapper and record executive. He helped pioneer the hip hop subgenre of trap music alongside fellow Atlanta-based rappers T.I. and Young Jeezy, particularly in the 2000s and 2010s. In 2005, Gucci Mane debuted with Trap House, followed by his second and third albums, Hard to Kill in 2006 and Back to the Trap House in 2007.

“No” she replied.

Gucci visited the home of a female companion back in May 2005 when armed robbers broke in and assaulted the rapper, stealing his possessions. During the struggle, Gucci was able to grab hold of a firearm and fired at them as they fled the scene. Several days later, the body of Pookie Loc was discovered by a middle school close to where the home invasion took place. Charges against Gucci were dropped due to lack of evidence.

Before Alexandra blasted Gucci, Big Scarr associate Quezz Ruthless and others trashed him online for the offering.

Over the weekend, Media Take Out confirmed that a man who claims to be Big Scarr’s brother came out publicly and blamed Gucci for not paying for the fallen rapper’s funeral.

The man went on Instagram Live and told followers that after Big Scarr passed, Gucci allegedly reached out to his family members and promised to pay the funeral expenses.

And there’s more. Another man – who also claims to be Big Scarr’s brother – is telling his followers that after Big Scarr passed, Gucci asked the family to return Big Scarr’s 1017 chain. The chain, which was valued at more than $50,000, was a symbol that he was affiliated with Gucci’s record label. It was also one of the most valuable possessions that the fallen rapper owned.

Daniel Bates, who goes by the stage name “Mac Critter” and is signed to Gucci Mane’s record label, has been arrested and charged with first degree murder, and if convicted, is facing life.

Police claim that Mac Critter was involved in the December 2022 shooting death of Markeith Taylor in North Memphis, Tennessee. 

According to the police reports, reviewed by Media Take Out, Markeith was found dead at the scene of a shooting on December 21st, 2022, after being shot several times by four men in an SUV.

Police say that the shooters, including a man identified as Gary “Lil Gary” Taylor and another identified as Mac Critter, approached Markeith and pulled out guns after he was called over to the vehicle. Prosecutors claim that Lil Gary shot Markeith and continued to fire after he fell to the ground.

Lil Gary, who is also charged with first-degree murder.

The Shelby County District Attorney’s Office alleges that both men are gang members. The pair and two others will remain in jail and are due back in court on January 10th.

This is just the latest in a series of legal troubles for artists associated with Gucci Mane.

Pooh Shiesty is serving five years in prison for a firearm conspiracy case, while Foogiano is spending five years in jail for removing his ankle monitor and staying on the lam for months.

Hoodrich Pablo Juan is serving 5 years for a RICO case, Ralo is doing 8 years for being a marijuana kingpin, and Yung Mal is locked up on a murder charge.

Shiesty pleaded guilty to one federal charge of conspiracy to possess a firearm in furtherance of violent and drug-trafficking crimes in January. The charges stem from an October 2020 robbery where two men were shot and injured. One of the victims stated they had met Shiesty at the location to sell the rapper a pair of Air Jordan 4 shoes. The second victim said he met with the rapper to sell him some weed and receive a payment for a lime green McClaren they had rented to him. Shiesty is believed to have been involved in the armed robbery.

The Georgia rapper trended online after he posted a tweet urging Houston promoters not to book him after Takeoff’s fatal shooting.

“I’m definitely not fw houston after DONT BOOK ME CAUSE BABY RACKS AINT COMING,” Racks tweeted. “Y’all mad cause I said I ain’t coming to Houston lmao f-ck Houston.”

Takeoff and his uncle Quavo, were attending a private event at a bowling alley in Houston. Quavo reportedly got into a heated argument with a man during a dice game. Sadly, shots were fired and Takeoff was struck by stray bullets. An autopsy performed by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences in Houston disclosed the rapper was hit in the head and torso.

He was 28.

Ralo was arrested on federal drug charges at DeKalb April 15, 2018. A private plane registered in his name arrived at an Atlanta airport with over 400 pounds of weed with a street value of $2 million.

“[Prosecutors] presented evidence that [Ralo] had continued participating in the distribution of drugs following his arrest in this case and while in custody,” the judge wrote.
