Cardi started off saying, “Takeoff your untimely passing has brought a great deal of pain and sorrow to so many lives. The impact you had in this world was so considerable and we have struggled to grasp this tragedy.”

“I am heartbroken but I am grateful for all the precious memories we got to share while you were here with us. This has truly been a nightmare and the pain is incomparable. The emptiness your brothers are feeling is unbearable and I pray that you give Offset, Quavo, and your friends and family the strength to keep going as they are trying to cope with this loss.”

The hip hop superstar added, “I believe that angels send signs and beautiful dreams to loved ones to assure them that they’re watching them and they’re okay and happy…send your mom some of those .”

She then appeared to hint at the possible reunion of the Migos, a rumor which Media Take Out has been hearing also.

Cardi told fans, “As a Migos fan it hurts me to look at pictures and videos of y’all together, and hearing y’all songs that changed the music industry and moved the culture and had the clubs lit . It hurts because I know it will never be the same again—but I know your bros and y’all fans will make sure the world never forgets the impact you made.”

She continued, “I will remember your remarkable talent and your dope ass personality. I pray that you are at peace and in paradise because you deserve every bit of it. I know God opened the heavenly gates for you with a warm embrace. Rest in power TakeOff.”

According to a person who was at the scene, Quavo was involved in a dice game with a group of men. During the game, Quavo lost a lot of money – about $100,000.

The witness told Media Take Out, “Quavo was down about $100 [thousand] and tried to win it back. He didn’t have any more cash on him, so they were rolling for [Quavo’s] diamond [chains].”

What happened next wasn’t clear. Before the final roll was completed, Quavo and the man began arguing over how the man was rolling.

The witness explained, “All of a sudden Quavo turned up, and everyone started arguing.”

Media Take Out confirmed that multiple guns were pulled, on both sides and shots rang out. Online speculation was that Takeoff was hit accidentally, by friendly fire – but our witness could neither confirm or deny it.

The witness continued, “Guns came out and people started shooting. I don’t know who fired [the bullet that killed Takeoff]. I don’t know that anyone knows. People just started running, and it was [chaos].”

Houston police confirmed that Takeoff was hit with multiple bullets, one fatally in the head. By all accounts, Takeoff was neither involved in the dice game, nor in the argument that ensued afterwards.

Takeoff was an extremely talented rapper. He was best known as a member of the hip hop trio Migos along with his uncle Quavo and first cousin once removed, Offset. The Migos changed hip hop with their debut 2013 hit “Versace” that went viral and peaked at number 99 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Takeoff loved music and started making beats and developing rhythms in the seventh grade, but did not start producing music professionally until 2011.

According to a reliable source, the rapper was involved in a dice game – and one of the participants pulled a gun, and murdered the Atlanta rapper.

Takeoff, born Kirshnik Khari Ball, is best known as a member of the hip hop trio Migos along with his uncle Quavo and first cousin once removed Offset.

Media Take Out has learned that pictures have surfaced, which purportedly shows the fallen rapper, as he lies lifeless as people look on in horror.

And it’s not just pictures. There’s a video circulating online which shows the rapper’s final moments. Warning, it is pretty graphic:

So what happened? Media Take Out hasn’t been able to confirm anything, but we can tell you that Takeoff was playing dice, and his Migos member Quavo was there with him, along with a BUNCH of security personell, Media Take Out has learned.

Offset claims he has the rights to his own music after paying the label millions.

Offset dropped new single “54321” this month. The song was produced by Baby Keem and released through Motown Records…not Quality Control.

According to documents obtained by Rolling Stone, part of Offset’s initial contract with Quality Control stated that the label owned all the rights to any music he made. QC would also get 50% of all net advances, royalties, his musical compositions and publishing income.

Well, in 2021, they reportedly came to an agreement that “In exchange for valuable consideration paid by Offset to Quality Control,” QC would “terminated” its agreement with Offset in regard to his solo music, “leaving him with the sole rights to his future independent projects.”

But QC are reportedly not sticking to the deal and are trying to get paid from his new solo single.

“Offset now brings this action to vindicate his rights and make it clear to the world that Offset, not Quality Control, owns Offset’s music,” the suit reads.

QC denies the claims.

“Not only are the accusations in this lawsuit false, they are totally detached from reality,” a statement from Quality Control to Rolling Stone reads. “Offset remains a part of QC.”

Over the last week, Quavo unfollowed Offset and Takeoff on Instagram. Then a Twitter user noticed that Cardi B. and Offset no longer follow Quavo and Takeoff on IG.

Media Take Out has reached out to insiders close to both Cardi and Offset, and we are unable to confirm whether Migos are over for good.

But Black Twitter doesn’t need confirmation. They’ve already decided that the Migos are through, and that it was Cardi B who pulled a Yoko Ono, on the group and broke up ‘The Black Beatles.’

There seems to be some credibility to the fact that The Migos is splitting up however – at least for now. Media Take Out confirmed that Quavo and Takeoff will be dropping new music as a duo called Unc and Phew, a reference to their familial bond.”

Their song is titled “Hotel Lobby,” set to drop on Friday, May 20. It’s not clear if Offset wasn’t feeling that move or not, but Quavo shared the promo video via Instagram. In the caption he wrote, “Road Trip To The Hotel Lobby Friday!”

In 2017, the Migos earned their first No. 1 song on the Billboard chart with “Bad and Boujee.” They also earned a gold plaque that same year for the single.

In 2018, the trio told spoke about “sticking together,” despite dropping solo albums. Offset said, “This sht is just showcase. We just wanted to show the world that it can be done and you still be home team. But the group is for all the sht.” That same year, they celebrated their second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 albums chart with Culture II. In addition, they made Billboard chart history, tying The Beatles for the most simultaneous entries on the Billboard chart.
