This isn’t the first time that the young man was rushed to the hospital, it’s happened on at least 3 other occasions.

On Sep. 20, she posted about it on her Instagram account. She captioned the post, “In the ICU again but still making it. 13 weeks old and doing GREAT!!! #GODISGOOD. #Ke’ZyahJean #babyboy #mommyanddaddysbaby. We love u so much!!!”

Well now Ricky is speaking out about it. The comedian admitted that his son struggled with a pretty serious drug problem, and that he likely died from a fentanyl overdose.

On Wednesday, the comedian sat down with Craig Melvin on the third hour of Today, and shared that his son’s death is a suspected overdose following years of substance abuse issues.

“Yeah, he was struggling with that,” the Rickey Smiley Morning Show host said when asked about Brandon’s drug use. “His mother and I made several attempts to try and send him to get the help he needed, send him to rehab. And we thought that he was doing better.”

Although Smiley noted that “he used and it killed him,” he said that it was just speculation, as the family is waiting for the results of the toxicology report.

“But we haven’t got a toxicology report yet,” Smiley said. “But this is just what we are speculating, according to his girlfriend who found him unresponsive.”

Smiley said that he and Brandon’s mother often had conversations with their son, and encouraged other parents to do the same, even if it seems the children won’t listen. 

“We have to have a conversation,” he said. “I think the parents are having the conversation. The problem is getting the kids to listen to these conversations.”

A Black father is going viral on social media, after a video he posted on TikTok – revealing that his son is really his uncle – and the post went viral.

In the post, the man – who goes by the name Stacks1400 – posted video of him distraught and crying and in it, he claims that he found out that his son is actually his uncle.

How can this happen? Well the man’s grandfather invited him and his girlfriend to stay with him, and during that time, the man’s girlfriend allegedly had an affair with his grandfather. That led to a baby boy being conceived, which the man thought was his own.

And the macking grandfather allegedly has a propensity for doing foul stuff like this. The man captioned his TikTok post, “Can’t believe I expected more from a man that had a whole other family around the corner from my granny house.”

The man claims that he still wants to be in his son’s life. He posted a series of photos of children on his TikTok page – without disclosing which child was his uncle.

Rickey Smiley revealed on Sunday that his eldest child, Brandon, died – but he didn’t specify the exact cause of death.

“I lost my eldest son #BrandonSmiley this morning,” the comedian wrote Video on Instagram taken at the airport over the weekend.

“I’m fine but please pray for my son’s mother Brenda, his siblings and daughter Storm,” continued the 54-year-old actor.

In the video, Rickey told fans that he was “on his way to … Birmingham” to mourn his son.

The Ricky Smiley Morning Show host, refused to reveal any details about Brandon’s passing, but he noted that he now understands what his grandfather went through after losing his child.

The comedian then asked his Instagram followers to pray.

“Now I understand… why he felt the way he did,” Rickey explained. “My grandpa went through this sh** with my dad and somehow here I am going through the same thing my grandparents went through. So just pray for our family.”

The announcement of the reality TV star came two years after his daughter, Aaryn, was shot multiple times in a road rage incident waiting at a red light on the way to Whataburger.

“Today could have been different,” star of “Ricky Smiley For Real.” he told his YouTube subscribers after the July 2020 shooting, “I’m lucky [my daughter] is still alive.”

In a new set of Instagram stories rapper Lil Nas X has revealed some shocking news. With the “Old Town Road” singe revealing that he has a son, Lil Nas X dropped a bombshell of a news while revealing the child is one-year old and was born on September 27, 2021.

Media Take Out confirmed that the Wild ‘n Out host spoke about his big family during an episode of Paramount+’s The Checkup with Dr. David Agus.

“I’m constantly working and I’m just spread thin,” said Cannon as talked about preparing to soon welcome his 12th child.

The Drumline star recently welcomed baby #11, a newborn daughter named Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon with Abby De La Rosa. They also share twins Zion and Zillion.

Nick is expecting baby #12 sometime next year with Alyssa Scott. The TV personality and model shared son Zen, who sadly died from a brain tumor.

“[Doctors] pretty much told me that best case scenario, your son could live to 3 or 4 years old,” he shared during the episode, revealing why he didn’t want his son to undergo chemotherapy. “So, instantly when I heard that, I thought quality of life. And there’s more. Rihanna plans on bringing out SEVERAL guests to her show – Jeezy, Calvin Harris, and Eminem are all set to join Rihanna on stage. And of course, the big finale will be her biggest hit song, Umbrella with JAY Z coming out.

Kanye West was supposed to be a part of the show, but given his current controversies – the producers have scrapped the idea of including Yeezy in the min-concert.

Now the last bit of tea …. Media Take Out confirmed that A$AP Rocky and Rihanna’s son will both be brought out as part of the show. The details surrounding how, and when are still being worked out, but we’re 100% sure of this happening. Soulja Boy first announced he was having a child in March. Taking to Instagram at the time, the 31-year-old rapper shared a video of himself and Martinez at a baby reveal party. As soon as the blue confetti and colored powder exploded, Soulja Boy started jumping up and down before running over to Martinez to give her a hug. He wrote in the caption: “It’s a boy!!”

But the pregnancy stirred up some unpleasant emotions for at least one person — his “secret” girlfriend of over a decade. T.I. – who is King’s father – and who is an active parent, addressed the incident in a separate video. TI asked the folks on Twitter to give his teenage son a break, as he is just a child – and is prone to making mistakes.

The King Of The South also offered some advice to his son. He advised the young man not to argue with people who are “not on his level in life.”

T.I. told his followers on Instagram Live:

Beverly Hills Police claim that hey stopped Kirk’s son for a broken car taillight. And when the cops searched his car, they had discovered an illegal pistol.

But there’s more to the story. Kerrion’s friend and podcaster Larry Reid is reporting that, after discovering the weapon, police discovered that the car he was driving did not belong to him either….but allegedly a missing woman who is rumored to be murdered!

Kerrion Is now being held without bond, before he is extradited to Texas, the state where that woman was killed.

Kerrion made news last week, when on the latest episode of Bad Boys Of LA, the gospel singer’s son came out of the closet as a member of the LGBTQ tribe.

Kerrion’s father Kirk is American choir director, gospel singer, dancer, songwriter, and author. He is best known for leading urban contemporary gospel choirs such as The Family, God’s Property, and One Nation Crew (1NC) among many others. He has won numerous awards, including 16 Grammy Awards.

Variety dubbed Franklin as a “Reigning King of Urban Gospel”, and is one of the inaugural inductees into the Black Music & Entertainment Walk of Fame.
